A Letter to the Universe

Alright.

I’m ready.

I’m tired of excuses, tired of being bored, tired of living for other people.

I’m tired of sacrificing my values because I worry about how standing up for myself will make other people react.

Because I know something cool is coming, and I want to be ready when it does.

So here it goes. I’m ready to grow.

I’ll accept each day with patience. I understand growth is slow.

I won’t blame myself for the bad days, because I know I can’t stop them from happening.

Instead, I’ll forgive myself, take care of myself, and remember that little progress counts too.
